So much for harmony: Heidi Klum and her Tom tease each other on camera
The Netflix reality series “Kaulitz & Kaulitz” continues to follow the turbulent daily lives of twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz (35) in its second season. This naturally includes Tom’s famous wife Heidi Klum (52), who appears even more frequently in the eight new episodes starting June 17 than in the first season. For the first time, she sits down with her husband for a couple’s interview in front of the camera. And the scenes follow the motto: “Those who love each other, tease each other.”
Everyday Problems with Klum/Kaulitz
The model and the musician noticeably often needle each other, which is quite unusual given their previous appearances. Whether on the red carpet or on Instagram – they always present themselves as the absolute dream couple who can’t keep their hands off each other even after seven years. But now they suddenly debate topics like table manners, farting, and handyman skills. And somehow the glamorous couple seems just like any normal couple dealing with everyday problems.
“Have you ever even changed a light bulb?”, Heidi Klum asks her husband, who immediately gets upset and indignantly assures that he has indeed done handiwork many times – like on the chandelier in the kitchen. Speaking of which: Tom Kaulitz reveals that “at our home” his wife stands at the stove and likes to cook for him. “She used to always throw a fish in the pan for me in the evening”, he chats from their family villa in L.A. A revelation that Heidi Klum apparently doesn’t find so great. She mockingly asks back: “Oh yeah, should I throw something else in the pan for you tonight?”
His Elbow Bothers Her at the Table
There’s also apparently still some need for discussion regarding table manners. She hints that she can’t stand it when he puts his elbow on the table while eating. “My kids always look at that.” That’s why it’s good if he and his brother get “a little tutoring” on the subject. After this comment, she adds: “My husband will kill me for saying this.” He wants to know if she noticed his bad table manners right when they first met, to which she just nods into the camera…
Tom Kaulitz also reveals a bad habit of his wife in the season. He tells friends: “I don’t fart in front of my wife, but she sometimes does in front of me.” She laughingly denies this in the interview: “I don’t fart, do I look like someone who farts, I don’t think so.”
She Gets Revenge with Birthday Present
So Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz also have their fair share of disagreements at home. “You always make jokes about me and say I’m afraid of everything”, the “GNTM” boss, who always appears so tough on her show, accuses him. That’s why she came up with a small revenge gift for her husband and brother-in-law’s 35th birthday: shark diving in Hawaii.
“He always teases me”, Klum emphasizes. That’s why this time she chose something he doesn’t like so much. Looking at the scenes showing the Kaulitz brothers whining in the water cage, she has no sympathy: “The shark can’t even reach them there. They just snorkeled around a bit.”
“My Husband is Simple-Minded”
But of course the celebrity couple doesn’t just needle each other, they also show their harmonious side on Netflix. Like when it comes to clothing. Heidi Klum reveals that she likes to wear what her husband likes. “My husband wishes for a miniskirt with heels”, she comments on one of her sexy outfits. “My husband is simple-minded in such things.” But she seems to have similar taste and likes seeing a lot of skin on him: “Well, you’re best naked of course, but I also like the clothes you choose.”
And during a brief look back at how they met, Klum also shows her romantic side: “Our hearts immediately connected.” Tom Kaulitz speaks of a “Happy End” – until he realizes: “We’re still in the middle of it.”
