You can insure your car, your home and — believe it or not — even your most beloved body parts.
Those features are often moneymakers for celebrities, making insurance an unconventional yet responsible move. While the average person might not need a policy on their pinky toe or derrière, stars (or the companies profiting from them) view it as essential to protect against potential income loss be it their assets are damaged, scarred or worse.
From Heidi Klum’s $2 million legs to Bruce Springsteen’s multi-million-dollar vocal cords, here’s a peek at the stars who’ve reportedly had certain body parts covered.

Reportedly insured for: $10 million
With 12 kids by six women, Nick Cannon’s legacy keeps, uhm, multiplying — so insuring his babymakers was clearly the next logical step. The Masked Singer host announced on social media that personal care brand Dr. Squatch insured his testicles for a cool $10 million. “It’s official! I have the most valuable balls in the world!” Cannon wrote.
While it could’ve simply been a bold marketing stunt, Cannon swore the policy on his crown jewels is legit. “I had to insure my most valuable assets,” he told Entertainment Tonight in July 2024. “Because you hear about like all these different celebrities insuring their legs … so I was like, ‘Hey, well, I got to insure my most valuable body part.’ ”

Reportedly insured for: $2.2 million
When your legs are the focal point of everything, you’d better have those babies insured. Klum did for a while for a client, though a small scar on her left leg meant it was worth $200,000 less than its counterpart, she told Ellen DeGeneres in 2022.
“When I was young, I fell into a glass and I have, like, a big scar,” she explained to DeGeneres. “Obviously I put so much spray tan on right now you can’t see it right now but yeah, one was more expensive than the other one.”
“It’s weird the things that some people do,” Klum added.
Bruce Springsteen’s Vocal Cords
Reportedly insured for: $6 million
No one can belt “Born in the U.S.A.” quite like the rocker, who’s covered the body part responsible for that gravely voice — his vocal cords — for quite a lot, TIME reported.

Reportedly insured for: $21 million
Kim Kardashian, known for her backside (once proven all-natural via X-ray), reportedly has a $21 million policy on her tush — that’s $10.5 million per cheek! Surprisingly, it wasn’t Kardashian who made the call but her then-fiancé, Kanye West, who believed her butt needed its own protection plan.
