Nepo babies Isan Elba, Olivia Jade Giannulli, Ava Phillippe, Audrey McGraw, and Leni Klum attended Michael Kors’ NYFW show on Thursday
The nepo babies have officially taken over New York Fashion Week.
Michael Kors’ spring/summer 2026 fashion show was a sight to behold not just for the styles on display, but also for the many privileged stars in attendance.
Isan Elba, Olivia Jade Giannulli, Ava Phillippe, Audrey McGraw, and Leni Klum were all rubbing elbows as they caught the show – which also featured a nepo baby on the catwalk.
Amelia Gray Hamlin, 24, the daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, was among the models working Michael Kors’ upcoming wares down the runway.
Her big sister Delilah Belle Hamlin, 27, a model and actress as well, was in attendance with mother Rinna.
The attendees boasted a who’s who of stars (and their children).

Leni, 21, showed off the eye for style she had inherited from mother Heidi Klum in a shimmering white blouse, high-waist shorts, and a coat that she fashionably posed with on the red carpet.
Elba, 23, the daughter of actor Idris Elba, was also a sight to behold in a brown halter dress cinched with a belt and paired with classic peep toe heels.
Ava, 26, the daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, wowed in a black lace dress with peep toe heels, a shoe style also selected by fellow nepo baby Olivia Jade Giannulli, 25.
Giannulli, whose parents are the controversial stars Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, put on quite the leggy display in a billowing textured coat, heels, and a messy bun.
McGraw, whose parents are country stars Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, opted for a floor-length dress and leather boots.
They weren’t the only descendants of famous families to get an invite to the show.
Nicky Hilton, who hails from the Hilton empire, was a vision of elegance as usual.
The hotel heiress was the embodiment of chic in a black dress paired with classic heels and a pearl necklace.

Phillippe and Giannulli, who both also have famous parents, turned up to the star-studded event
Gwyneth Paltrow, who is the daughter of actress Blythe Danner and the late Hollywood producer Bruce Paltrow, also stuck with her classic eye for style for the event.
The actress may have had connections to Hollywood but she’s since won an Oscar and launched her own wildly successful wellness brand, Goop.
While the concept of children getting a leg up due to their well-connected parents is nothing new, the attention surrounding ‘nepo baby’ has certainly increased in recent years.
In 2022, New York Magazine ran a story about the craze, with the likes of Dakota Johnson, Maya Hawke, and Zoe Kravitz mocked on their ‘Year of the Nepo Baby’ cover.
Vulture senior writer Nate Jones spoke with managers and casting directors in the industry as part of the story, one of whom simply stated: ‘A lot of the children of famous people are not good.’
‘Someone once said to me, “We should hire so-and-so because their parents will come to the opening night,” a veteran casting director recalled.

Nicky Hilton and Gwyneth Paltrow, who both are connected thanks to their parents, were in attendance

Olivia Wilde and Lea Michele embraced their edgy and sensual sides when it came to their NYFW wardrobe
‘A big agency will write and say, “This is so-and-so’s kid,” and you understand that to mean “So you have to see this kid.” I have learned to simply say, “Not right for the role. But lovely.” There are a number of veiled responses rather than saying, “Are you guys kidding me?”‘
Paltrow has previously objected to the backlash, and defended those who pursue similar careers as their parents.
Having followed her mother’s footsteps into acting, Gwyneth sees ‘nothing wrong with doing or wanting to do what your parents do.’
In a 2023 interview with Bustle, the Oscar winner argued: ‘Nobody rips on a kid who’s like: “I want to be a doctor like my dad and granddad.”‘
At the time, she insisted that her own daughter Apple is ‘a very private person’ who has no interest in even modeling for Gwyneth’s wellness brand Goop. (She was recently announced as the face of London-based fashion house self-portrait).

When the interviewer said Apple ‘could be a lovely model,’ Gwyneth replied: ‘Exactly! She doesn’t want anything to do with it, though.’
Gwyneth stood up for children who join the same profession as their parents, pointing out that they are acting on the influences they absorbed at home.
‘The truth is if you grow up in a house with a lot of artists and people making art and music, that’s what you know, the same way that if you grow up in a house with law, the discussions around the table are about the nuances of whatever particular law the parents practice,’ she said. ‘I think it’s kind of an ugly moniker.’
She added: ‘I just hope that my children always feel free to pursue exactly what they want to do, irrespective of what anybody’s going to think or say.’
New York Fashion Week kicked off on Thursday and will run until Tuesday with brands debuting their Spring / Summer 2026 collections.
