Art dealer Vito Schnabel (39) made a rare public appearance with his wife at the Venice Film Festival: Heidi Klum’s (52) ex-partner and Helena Althof (22) were seen on the red carpet Wednesday evening at the premiere of ‘In the Hand of Dante’.

The couple – he in a classic suit without a tie and she in a hot pink, off-the-shoulder gown with sparkling silver appliqués – presented themselves as an intimate unit and even shared a tender kiss in front of photographers. Since their wedding in July 2024, the two have rarely been seen in public.

This appearance was no coincidence: Vito Schnabel serves as producer on ‘In the Hand of Dante’, while his father, director and artist Julian Schnabel (73), directed the film. The star-studded movie is one of the prestigious premieres at this year’s film festival.

Married since 2024

Vito Schnabel and Helena Althof, who is 17 years his junior and the daughter of German personal security guard and former ‘Jungle Camp’ contestant Peter Althof, tied the knot in 2024 after about a year and a half of dating.

Schnabel became primarily known through his relationship with Heidi Klum, whom he dated from 2014 to 2017. He has also been linked to Irina Shayk, Elle Macpherson, Liv Tyler, Demi Moore, and Amber Heard. Vito Schnabel is the son of Julian Schnabel and his first wife, Jacqueline Beaurang.
