All eyes were on Heidi Klum and Seal’s teenage son as he made his Paris Fashion Week debut on Tuesday.

Henry Samuel, 19, made waves in the fashion community as he walked for Lena Erziak Haute Couture Spring/ Summer 2025 show at the City of Love’s Hotel le Maroi.

While his entry into the modelling world drew a strong reaction online, with some naysayers dubbing him a ‘nepo baby’, the teen was praised for his strong walk and head-turning looks.

However, Henry isn’t the only child blessed by the genes of the German/American model and English singer-songwriter, with the couple raising four children together before filing for divorce in 2012.

The couple’s eldest, Leni Klum, 20, who was adopted by Seal in 2008 when she was five years old, is similarly forging her way in the modelling world, having secured a string of impressive campaigns, including the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Germany.

18-year-old Johan Samuel, the third child and second son of the famous pair, maintains a low profile on the public stage.

Following in the footsteps of Johan is Lou Samuel, 15, the pair’s youngest and most private child – perhaps owing to her age.

Here, Femail explores the lives of Heidi and Seal’s glamorous brood, as Henry makes his fashion week debut.

LENI KLUM 

Heidi shares her oldest, Leni, with the Italian businessman Flavio Briatore, from whom she split while still pregnant. Soon afterwards, she began dating Seal, and was in a relationship with the singer when she gave birth.

Heidi went on to tie the knot with her now-ex-husband Seal in 2005, and soon after, he adopted Leni. Heidi and Seal eventually split up in 2012.

Flavio has since spoken about how Seal ‘raised’ Leni and confessed he didn’t have a relationship with his daughter, but they now appear to have rebuilt their relationship.

Leni made her modeling debut at the age of 16 with her mother on the cover of Vogue Germany – a publication from Heidi’s native country.

However, in October 2023 fans expressed concern over an Intimissi shoot where Heidi and Leni showed off their bodies in lingerie while arm in arm.

Commenters on Initimissi’s Instagram post were largely positive, but several users were disturbed by the mother–daughter display.

‘Dude that’s your mother,’ one person put it bluntly.

Another person said: ‘Which normal mother would pose together with her daughter in lingerie?’

‘Family business it must be continued,’ replied one user.

Heidi blocked comments on her post.

The campaign faced a barrage of negative attention, including from Howard Stern, who branded the photo-shoot ‘so f***ing out of line’ and ‘so inappropriate.’

Leni, however, responded to the furor by airily remarking to Page Six: ‘I honestly didn’t look at a lot of the reactions.’

She declared: ‘I am overall happy with the campaign and I had an amazing day with my mom. I think the photos turned out great, and we had an amazing time.’

Heidi later fired up her Instagram and posted an Intimissimi lingerie shot with Leni – prompting another round of backlash.

The Instagram update came after the showbiz legacy responded to the online allegations she is a ‘nepo baby’.

‘It’s just a fact. My parents are famous,’ said Leni, who was adopted by her mother’s ex-husband Seal during the marriage.

However, she insisted to People magazine that she is ‘doing the work and putting in the time’ to carve out a career for herself.

‘I did get help starting off, and I know that people would dream to start off with what I had,’ said Leni, who walked for Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week in 2022 with her mother proudly filming her from the audience.

‘I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to take what was gifted to me by my mom. But I am doing the work and putting in the time,’ she maintained.

‘Now I’m working on my own, traveling alone, going to school. My mom and I just have the same love for the same thing.’

HENRY SAMUEL

The eldest son of Heidi and Seal followed his mother into the supermodel business after his Paris Fashion Week debut earlier this week.

It was Henry’s first big moment in the spotlight, with him maintaining a low-key profile before the event.

Heidi has long been vocal about her pride in her oldest son though, and shortly after his birth in 2005, she told People: ‘Everyone who sees him says, ”Oh my god, he looks just like Seal”. And I’m like, ”He has nothing of me?…

”C’mon, there must be something of me in there somewhere’. And they’re like, ”No, sorry, he looks just like his father!”.

In 2008, she revealed the then-three-year-old loved dressing up as a princess: ‘There’s nothing wrong with that. More fun than Buzz Lightyear.’

Further detailing his unique fashion sense in 2011, she said ‘He lives in his own world.

‘We went to dinner all dressed properly [and Henry wore dinosaur slippers]. You can barely walk in those things, but for him, it’s not weird at all.’

Earlier this week in Paris, Henry stole the show on the runway, modeling a backless black suit and cape with gold animal pins.

Right after the show wrapped, the 51-year-old America’s Got Talent judge took to her Instagram page to proudly post a video of her son taking on his first runway like a pro.

‘So proud of you Henry – Opening the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Show in Paris @henrysamle @lena_erziak,’ she penned in the caption.

Luckily for Henry, his older sister Leni — who is no stranger to modeling — gave him a few tips before he opened the star studded show.

The 19-year-old told Vogue Germany: ‘Leni told me to look straight ahead and walk as if I was balancing a book on my head. My mother told me to do my best and not forget to have fun.’

When asked by the outlet if he had been interested in a career in modeling his entire life his response was shockingly no.

‘Not necessarily,’ he continued. ‘I have many interests — sports, music, film and fashion.

‘I want to use the different creative experiences that are available to me to find the right path for my future.’

JOHAN SAMUEL

Eighteen-year-old Johan Samuel is the second son of Heidi and Seal, who maintains a life outside of the limelight.

While he’s yet to launch a modelling career like his younger siblings, Heidi has previously shared her thoughts on Johan’s looks.

‘My boys are very sexy,’ said the America’s Got Talent star in 2017 when Henry was 11 and John was ten.

The IMG model added in conversation with People: ‘They’re very young and I probably shouldn’t say that, that they’re sexy.’

Klum praised her younger son, saying that he ‘looks almost like a European soccer player.

‘He has this gorgeous, mixed skin and he’s so sweet and he has beautiful, big lips. His hair is just so wild and big. My little one has the most gorgeous hair.’

She also declared that her sons have ‘rocking bodies,’ predicting she’ll be fighting off attention from the opposite sex in time.

‘There’s going to be a line around my house,’ she said, adding that they’ll have to ‘fend off the ladies’ as they grow older.

LOU SAMUEL 

Heidi and Seal’s youngest child is 15-year-old Lou Samuel, who rarely makes public appearances and maintains a private Instagram account.

Despite making few movements in the limelight, Lou appears to have a very close bond with her parents.

When she was born in 2009, Seal wrote in a statement via People: ‘It’s difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children.

‘Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another?’

‘On Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at 7:46 p.m., the answer to this question came in the form of our fourth child and second daughter. Lou Sulola Samuel was born, and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes, it was endless love at first sight.’

In the time since, Heidi has revealed Lou’s love for Halloween, while recent photographs reveal she’s also inherited model genes like her siblings.
