Heidi Klum is leaving her supermodel glam and itty bitty bikinis at home in favor of an au naturel photo shoot. The German model stripped down to the very basics while documenting a day at the beach in St. Barts, going make-up free as she lounged completely naked by the water.

Klum ditched her clothing and glam and bared it all for her latest Paris Match magazine cover photo, which she shared on Instagram with Common Saints’ “Summer Sun” playing in the background on Saturday, August 16. The 52-year-old star has been sharing behind-the-scenes images from the intimate spread, which was photographed by Antoine Verglas, including photos that show her narrowly avoiding a nip slip with a bra made out of shells, laying in bed with husband Tom Kaulitz, and giving fans a very cheeky glimpse of her summer tan lines in a nude outtake—and Saturday’s image shows the finished product.

Klum showed off her physique while laying naked on a wooden surface, with the ocean in the background. The Project Runway judge showed off her natural beauty in the pared-down image, covering her bare chest with her hands and strategically arranging her legs. Her red manicure added a pop of color against the otherwise au naturel image. She styled her blonde hair with its new shaggy bangs off of her face and in beachy waves, giving the photo an undone, effortless aesthetic.

The former Victoria’s Secret Angel has opened up about her comfortability with going nude, previously telling Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper that she’s a fan of nude beaches and tends to strip down completely when she’s sunbathing at home—so much so that her kids have to let her know in advance when they’re bringing friends over to avoid any awkward situations.

“I mean, I try to be like that with my kids. Obviously, when you know, no one is there. I’m in my garden also, you know, I’m topless,” Klum told Cooper last January, explaining, “And they will come, like, ‘You know, my friend is coming over, mom, put your top on.’ And I’m like, ‘When have I ever not had a top on when your friend was coming over? Of course, I will.’”

She added, “But they always make sure. ‘Mom, just a little warning what’s going to happen here. “And I’m like, ‘Don’t worry.’ I also don’t want to flash anyone just to flash someone. I just don’t love tan lines.”
