The popular cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef, has been gaining momentum since its inception, and the latest episode has taken the excitement to a whole new level. As the first elimination approaches, the tension in the kitchen is palpable, and the contestants are bracing themselves for the challenge ahead.
Recent challenge on Celebrity MasterChef
In a recently released episode, the blue team, led by Tejasswi Prakash, found themselves in a precarious situation as they faced off against each other in the black apron challenge.
The challenge, announced by Farah Khan, was not for the faint of heart, as she declared, “Today’s challenge is not fire; it’s wildfire.” The contestants were presented with a black box with fire coming out of it, and as they removed the box, they were revealed the hero ingredient that had to be the main aspect of their dish.
The pressure was evident as the contestants struggled to create their culinary masterpieces.
Chandan Prabhakar expressed his anxiety, saying, “Maine itne pressure me kabhi khana nahi banaya hai.” Gaurav Khanna also admitted to feeling scared, saying, “Bohot zyada dar laag raha hain aaj mujhe. (I’m very scared today.)”
Chandan gets ELIMINTED
As the contestants presented their dishes to the judges, the tension was palpable. However, Chandan’s dish failed to impress the judges, who exclaimed that he didn’t use the chillies as a hero ingredient. Disappointed by his dish, they decided to eliminate him from the show.
The episode also saw a heated exchange between Tejasswi Prakash and Archana Gautam, reflecting the competitive spirit in the show. The two actresses got into a verbal spat, with Tejasswi telling Archana, “Kal toh tum jitna naach rahi thi, tumhe unhone select nahi kiya tha. Tum akhir mein baach gayi thi, iisiliye udhar chali gayi thi. (You were dancing in joy yesterday, but they did not select you. You were the last one left, that’s why you went there).”
Archana hit back, saying, “Mein thuk ke nahi chatungi Tejasswi (I will not spit and lick it, Tejasswi).” The show, judged by renowned chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar, along with filmmaker Farah Khan, boasts a star-studded lineup, featuring popular celebrities such as Gaurav Khanna, Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, Tejasswi Prakash, and many more.
The culinary competition airs on Sony TV at 8 PM from Monday to Friday, and with the first elimination out of the way, the stakes are higher than ever.
