Cue the suspense because the Queen of Halloween is already cooking up a monster hit. Heidi Klum revealed this year’s costume is shaping up to be frightfully fabulous with her first spooky sneak peek to kick off the month.

The model, 52, shared a photo of her smooth and creepy 3D mask with a pronounced upper lip in progress on Wednesday, October 1, leaving fans guessing about what she is planning to be at her star-studded 2025 bash.

Klum tagged prosthetic makeup artist Mike Marino, who she previously tapped for her 2024 E.T. costume with her husband, Tom Kaulitz. “This is just the beginning 👀👻💀🎃 @prorenfx #HeidiHalloween,” she captioned the post via Instagram, turning off her comments.

Marino has quite an impressive résumé when it comes to his Hollywood transformations, previously showcasing his work done on Colin Farrell for The Penguin, in which the actor portrayed scar-marked Gotham gangster Oz Cobb.

Marino also notably overhauled Sebastian Stan’s look to play Edward, a struggling actor with neurofibromatosis, for A Different Man.

Klum revealed that her costume was underway in September, sharing a clip of herself biting down to get a mold of her teeth, writing, “Halloween is just around the corner 🥳👻🎃❤️.”

As for last year’s costume, “I knew I wanted to do something nostalgic,” Klum previously told Vogue about her choice for the occasion. “I started going down memory lane, thinking about which dolls I played with, what movies I watched, and what some of my favorite childhood memories were.”

“It’s my favorite childhood movie of all time — I watched it a million times,” the former America’s Got Talent judge added. “It’s a movie that inspired me to dream and imagine the possibility of life beyond Earth.”

The cover girl also opened up about her preparation in a separate interview with People, revealing that she takes her Halloween costume planning quite seriously. “Because molds need to be made,” she shared at the time. “Prosthetics need to be made, fittings have to be had.”

“It takes a long time. It takes a lot of planning. And also then when I do the reveal, I want to have a special reveal because I know I have so many fans and those particular Halloween fans are people who love also dressing up and coming up with amazing things,” Klum pointed out.

Klum added of the pressure she puts on herself, “I feel like they’re really looking at what I’m doing and I don’t want to let anyone down, so I’m always giving everything.”

In 2023, Klum dazzled with a fabulous peacock costume. A team of her backup dancers dressed in elaborate feathers while she opted for a velvet royal blue bodysuit and mask.

Before that, she transformed into an earthworm for her annual shindig in 2022, while Kaulitz, 36, also got into the spirit by coordinating with his leading lady as a fisherman.

Klum is known to go the extra mile with her costumes over the years, dressing as a flesh-eating alien, a life-size Princess Fiona, a zombie doll, a werewolf, Jessica Rabbit and a human body — just to name a few.
