Helene Fischer on second children’s album: “Today the journey continues”
Helene Fischer (41) is celebrating the release of her second children’s song album “Die schΓΆnsten Kinderlieder – Tanzen & Feiern” this Friday. On Instagram, she addresses her fans: “My dear ones, today the journey continues!” She hopes that album buyers will “have as much joy listening with your little ones as I had recording this project!”
Along with this, Fischer, who announced the birth of her second child in August, shared a special clip: “Here you can see some behind-the-scenes impressions of the 3D world for the album! You can find the result on YouTube!” She wishes her fans “a wonderful weekend and a great start to fall!” Fischer has developed a video series with a personal 3D avatar to accompany her children’s songs.
The songs are meant to come alive in a completely new way. “The most beautiful thing is to reach children where they feel at home: in a world full of colors, animation, and music”, the 41-year-old announced in an earlier statement. “It quickly became clear: This should also exist on a smaller scale, preferably in a world where everyone feels comfortable and where everyone loves each other.” The team needed over a year to create the virtual world.
Strenuous program for “Mini-Helene”
In the Instagram video, the singer can be seen in a black outfit with a camera in front of her head. “It’s fun, but I didn’t think it would be so exhausting”, she explains about the recordings for her 3D world. For example, she “rode imaginarily, it was a super leg and butt workout, it’s quite funny.”
In a YouTube clip a few days ago, Fischer was seen during the unusual shooting. The “Mini-Helene” jumps around with her friends in this dream world, “sings, laughs, dances, and is simply happy”, she explains. Her avatar “really lives through me, I sang everything, every movement you’ll see from the animated Helene is from me.”
The new album follows “Die schΓΆnsten Kinderlieder”, which Fischer released in 2024. The 25 “energetic tracks” on the second work offer “well-known classics to modern rhythms”. These include “Das rote Pferd”, “Wer will fleiΓige Handwerker seh’n” or “Hey Pippi Langstrumpf”. A new interpretation of the “Baby Shark” hit is also on the record. Helene Fischer recorded this together with comedy legend Otto Waalkes (77).
