‘I’m cheering for you today and every single day, congratulations Johan. My heart is full of joy and pride,’ she posted. As Henry walked across the stage in graduation gown and cap, Klum’s cheers could be clearly heard in the auditorium.

Johan’s post-high school plans were already revealed in late April in an Instagram post. It shows him as a toddler wearing an orange polo shirt. Above the photo is his name, below it ‘Strategic Design and Management’ and ‘The New School’.

The New School was founded in 1919 as New School for Social Research in New York City and today comprises eight faculties in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village neighborhood. The Parsons School of Design has been part of it since 1970. Even before finishing high school, Johan visited several colleges. ‘Today we looked at Parsons [School of Design] for my second son Johan,’ Heidi Klum reported at the time. ‘Johan is very interested in art and fashion, that’s why we looked at Parsons.’

Leni and Henry follow in Heidi Klum’s footsteps

Lou (15), Johan, and Henry are from Klum’s second marriage to singer Seal (62), while Leni is from a relationship with Flavio Briatore (75). After high school graduation, Leni also moved to New York, where she studies interior design while successfully working as a model on the side. The same goes for her half-brother Henry. He celebrated his runway debut at Paris Fashion Week in January. Youngest child Lou is still in school.

Heidi Klum has been married to Tom Kaulitz since 2019, who celebrated the 20th anniversary of his band Tokio Hotel’s hit single ‘Durch den Monsun’ in Berlin over the weekend – and almost the entire family was there too.
