‘HeidiFest’ in September: Michelle is looking forward to meeting Heidi Klum
Starting this coming January, pop star Michelle (53) will embark on her farewell tour. But even before that, the singer is making waves. In a few months, not only will a new special edition of her successful album ‘Flutlicht’ be released, but together with her partner, singer Eric Philippi (28), she will also attend Heidi Klum’s (52) ‘HeidiFest’, which will be broadcast on ProSieben and via Joyn on September 18.
The invitation for ‘HeidiFest’ came during vacation
‘The invitation came while we were on vacation,’ Michelle tells the news agency spot on news. ‘We were very excited about it. Heidi’s invitation was a wonderful opportunity that we gladly accepted.’ The singer hasn’t met Klum in person yet, ‘but of course we know of each other. I’m looking forward to meeting her in person at the HeidiFest and getting to know her.’
The ‘HeidiFest’ will take place at Munich’s HofbrΓ€uhaus, and even this location is new to Michelle. ‘I haven’t been there myself, but of course everyone knows the HofbrΓ€uhaus as an integral part of Bavarian culture,’ she explains. ‘I imagine it to be very lively, sociable, and rich in tradition, and I’m looking forward to it.’
The ‘HeidiFest’ will definitely be sociable and very lively. The singer is also enthusiastic about the planned joint performance with partner Philippi for the big event. ‘Performing together is always something special for us,’ Michelle gushes. ‘It’s wonderful to share what you love. We’re looking forward to the stage and the atmosphere – but exactly what we have planned remains a surprise.’ And this surprise won’t be revealed yet. Perhaps the couple will sing a song together from the upcoming album ‘Fluchtlicht – Wahnsinnig Edition’. The special edition is set to be released on October 17 and will contain ten new studio tracks according to the press release.
Whether the couple will later visit the actual Oktoberfest seems uncertain. ‘We’re still thinking about it,’ says Michelle. ‘If time permits, we’d love to stop by, but it will probably be difficult to fit into our schedule.’
