What to Watch this week: Liam Neeson leads the new “Naked Gun”, Heidi Klum returns to “Project Runway”
Sure, he’s best known for more dramatic and action-driven fare, such as Schindler’s List, Star Wars, and the Taken franchise, but Liam Neeson is taking over a comedy classic, playing Leslie Nielsen’s son Frank Drebin Jr. in the new The Naked Gun. Pamela Anderson also stars as Beth Davenport, who eventually becomes Frank’s love interest.
There’s love of a more twisted kind in the supernatural rom-dram Together, starring real-life husband and wife Dave Franco and Alison Brie as a couple whose bodies start to mysteriously and horrifically morph and connect.
On TV, Heidi Klum is back in as host of Project Runway, which now features show alum and designer Christian Siriano as mentor, and returning judge Nina Garcia alongside series newcomer Law Roach. Plus, the vets battle newbies on a new season of The Challenge, Jason Momoa stars in Chief of War, the Marvel animated series Eyes of Wakanda debuts, and The Chi wraps up its season.
