There may be a lot going on in the world right now, but if there’s one thing we can always look forward to, it’s Beyoncé’s newest tour announcement.
On Saturday night, the Cowboy Carter tour was finally confirmed: Netflix was the first to signal the news, tweeting “Look at that horse” and linking to her “Beyoncé Bowl” performance. The Beyhive quickly pointed out that “Cowboy Carter Tour” was added as a title card at the end of the special.
The news became official when Beyoncé took to social media herself, confirming she would be hitting the road to support her eighth album. “COWBOY CARTER TOUR 2025,” she wrote on her social accounts and official website, alongside a video of a flashing neon sign declaring the tour. Like the Renaissance era, Bey also shared a photo of herself in theme, this time embracing her newest aesthetic with platinum blonde microbraids, bleached brows, glossy eyes, and a dramatic red lip. A matching platinum grill peeked out from underneath her scarlet lipstick.
In an uncharacteristic move for the “II Most Wanted” singer, she provided visuals before the tour dates. Still, she’s expected to make an appearance later today at the Grammy Awards—where she’s up for album, song and record of the year—meaning she could announce dates in just a few hours.
Fans had anticipated the Cowboy Carter tour announcement much earlier, as Beyoncé teased a special announcement on January 14. The singer postponed her news, however, due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires. Later, she pledged a whopping $2.5 million donation to fire relief efforts through her BeyGOOD Foundation, which directly provides funds to families who have lost their homes in the Altadena and Palisades fires, and will additionally help fund churches and community centers to better help the immediate needs of struggling families.
