The love story between Seal and Heidi Klum was on the lips of every music lover in the world.
No one could come close to them when talking about true love, in fact not even Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez.
The Kiss From a Rose star, Seal technically met Heidi Klum during an event, 2003’s GQ Awards in London.
According to Daily Mail, the two bumped into each other at a hotel lobby in 2004. That was how they officially came to know each other.
Recalling Heidi statement, she said: “I met him in a hotel lobby in New York City, and he came in just from the gym. I was sitting there and I was like, wow.”
Heidi Klum And Seal Marriage
Heidi klum confessed that when she set eyes on Seal, the attraction was “instant” and “intense.”
“I was physically, straightaway attracted to him,” Heidi said.
Seal also, admitted that he felt the connection right away when he saw Heidi.
Little did they know that they would be getting married to each other.
Heidi Klum Was Pregnant
However, Heidi was pregnant for her ex, Flavio Briatore, whilst she was dating Seal. Seal revealed that he hadn’t seen her for a month and on the day he did see her, she had a bump on her tummy. But that did not deter him anyway from loving her. Seal was really in love. He went ahead to adopt the unborn baby, Leni Klum.
Their Marriage
Later, Heidi Klum and Seal got married on May 10, 2005, on a Mexican beach. They gave birth to three children; two boys, one born in September 2005 and the other boy born in November 2006 whilst their daughter was born in October 2009. Seal and Heidi’s children are Lou Sulola Samuel, Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel.
On December 2009, Seal adopted Leni (daughter of Heidi’s ex-husband).
The Divorce
On January 22, 2012, the couple announced that they were divorcing after almost seven years of marriage. Heidi filed for divorce.
In an interview with Life and Style magazine, Heidi complained that she was the one doing all the parenting. According to her, she was the mom and dad at the same time. That wasn’t the only cause for their marriage to break down.
Communication also plays a part in their marriage downfall. Heidi said she only noticed it when she met her current partner, guitarist Tom Kaulitz. It was at that moment she started feeling happy. She discussed everything with Tom Kaulitz.
One other thing that cannot be lifted off the table which caused the divorce was Seal’s anger. Heidi revealed that Seal’s temper was the straw that finally separated them. Reportedly, she said Seal could not control his temper even whilst in front of the kids.
The separation was confirmed by Seal when he tweeted in January 2012 saying, “The End”. Fans figured out that the 7-year marriage had finally come to a halt.
Latest Developments
During an interview, Seal was asked if he would get married again and his response was in the negatives.
According to him, marriage is a flawed concept and does not work. He mentioned that single life is for him.
So currently, Seal is not looking to get married anytime soon.

On the flip side, the story is different for Heidi Klum. She is currently and legally married to Tom Kaulitz. They tied the knot in February 2019 just two months after they dated. Heidi Klum is 16 years older than Tom Kaulitz.
